COURSE PROGRAM
Over the 30 days of this challenge, you’ll follow the story of Carolina, a Brazilian woman traveling across Brazil and sharing her experiences.
Each day, you’ll explore a new part of her journey as she visits some of the most iconic cities in the country and guides you through their local culture and history.
Here’s what your daily routine will look like:
Step 1 – Listening Comprehension Test – Listen to a short story segment narrated by Carolina, designed to be natural, engaging, and rich in useful language. Then take a test to evaluate your listening comprehension and measure your progress throughout the course.
Step 2 – Parallel Reading (read while listening)
Step 3 – Phrase Shadowing (repeat phrase by phrase)
Step 4 – Close Shadowing (repeat immediately after hearing)
Step 5 – Speaking Assignment – Complete a short speaking task based on that day’s topic. Record your voice and share it with the group on the discussion board.

How does the challenge work?
Each day, you’ll:
- Read and listen to a short story segment to train your listening skills.
- Do shadowing exercises to improve your pronunciation and rhythm.
- Record and share a short speaking assignment (up to 45 seconds).
Every 7 days, you’ll have a special Grammar & Vocabulary Review.
Set aside about 30 minutes each day to review the materials and prepare your response.

How does the live workshop work?
In addition to the course materials and daily assignments, we’ll also meet on June 6th from 1 pm – 3 pm EDT (New York time) for one live workshop (2 hours), where you’ll have the chance to practice what you’ve learned and ask any questions. Come prepared to speak and bring your questions!

When does the challenge start and finish?
The challenge will take place from June 1 to 30, and the live workshop (Plus package only) will be held on June 6. A recording of the session will be available afterward for those who purchased the Plus package.
If you can’t do the challenge during this period, no problem! You’ll have lifetime access to the content and can complete the lessons at your own pace. However, teacher feedback is only available from June 1 to 30 (Plus package).
